Shopping in Honkers

I’m sitting in what possibly could be the cheesiest bar in the world, my hotel bar in Hong Kong, after a long day of training. My god it is hot and humid in honkers this time of year - the air is so thick outside you could swim through it. It’s like Cairns in the wet season but with serious pollution, which makes the air so much thicker. Weather aside it’s still nice to visit again - last night I indulged in my traditional HK treat, a trip to the computer markets with my training group (as usual I was like a kid in candy shop), followed by a great cantonese dinner with the locals. We ate frogs legs, which are very tricky with chopsticks. At the markets I spent over $AUD500 in 2 hours buying gadgets for friends, family and myself, and had an absolute ball.
